It appears this car is a number matching car based off the VIN, engine, and transmission numbers. As you can see this car has been cosmetically modified. The previous owner removed the Targa bar and windshield frame, installed factory steel turbo rear fender flares, steel front flares, and added the fiberglass front lower valence. He was going for a speedster look. The great news is he didn't discard the important Targa parts. As you can see in the photos the car will come with the removed windshield bar, the Targa bar and the rear windshield. It will also come with the factory lower front valence and original rear deck lid.

The car comes with the matching number 3.0 engine and 915 transmission. The car had a small flash fire from the fuel injection which is why it was parked. Talking to the previous owner and looking at the car it was put out quickly. It did affect some of the lines on the fuel injection, the plug wires on the passenger side, and it affected the oil tank. The good news is it didn't melt or ruin anything of any value. It seems as if it was very minor. All can be corrected with any engine rebuild. Additionally, the engine spins freely when you manually turn it. The transmission goes into each gear and feels normal. That said, I would consider both as cores and would obviously rebuild them if I were to restore the car or use them in another. The car has virtually no rust and the floors are in great shape. The parts that are missing that I can see are the original factory wheels, the oil tank, it will need misc. fuel injection parts, a front windshield, I don't believe the seats are correct for the car but I could be wrong, the heat exchangers, muffler, and a Targa top.

I would love to see the car be sold in its entirety and restored. I hate dismembering a complete car even in this condition.

Text, calls and email are best.
