Car description

Up for sale is my 1980 911 SC targa Project Car. I bought it about 4 years ago as a project. The previous owner did a color change, the car was originally brown with tan interior, and is now speed yellow with the interior having redone the interior in black/yellow to match. I have also added a whale tail and a Carrera front spoiler and professionally painted the targa bar. A few things in the interior need finishing, drivers side window put back in, door panels put on and a few other small things, but all window parts are supplied.I have also put in a Rennline aluminium dash which deletes the radio and glove box but this can be undone easily if the new owner so chooses. The car also has a full custom center console and a MOMO steering wheel, also comes with the original Factory steering wheel. Floors are absolutely rust free. On the outside I have installed Led headlights and cup wheels. The paint is good drivers quality. You will see in the pictures that the top of the drivers side fender needs to be sprayed and blended due to some large paint chips, not rust. New Paint will be supplied. Could use a professional buff job. Glass is all good. Tires will need to be replaced. Also brakes will need to be done along with the master cylinder, all new brake parts supplied new with car. As far as the motor is concerned the previous owner took the fuel injection off to swap to a PMO carburetor set up. That didn't happen so the fuel injection needs to be reinstalled. That will also be supplied. It has brand new stainless steel heat exchangers and a Bursch exhaust. The motor was removed before the car was torn apart thanks to Valvoline Instant oil change . They drained the motor only then put in 12 quarts and blew all the seals. They paid the local Porsche dealership to have the whole motor resealed. While the motor was out the clutch was done. Unfortunately I don't have copies of the repair bill. The original speedo is out, the last owner tried to do a gauge face color change and broke the needle off. I put in a replacement for now, but the original needs to be sent out. There are many more new parts I haven't mentioned and I have tried to be as honest and thorough as I can. I am 20 year PCA and 356 Registry member. I am a collector not a dealer. I have quite a few Porsches and just purchased a 996 turbo project so I need to make room. I can be reached at 518 eight five seven nine six five five for any questions. Thank you Greg.Car is sold as is no implied warranties. Also this auction may end at any time due to the car being for sale locally also.
