You are looking at a 1981 Porsche 911 that started life as a California Targa that was converted to a C2 Turbo 965 with all authentic 1989 930 parts. Vehicle is rust free and carries a Clean TitleNO RESERVE!!
- Turbo flares are metal- Authentic Turbo Whale Tail- 18 inch 3 piece BBS with new tires- 930 Brakes equipped in 4 corners- 930 Banana Trailing Arms- 930 Front and Rear Suspension- 930 Gauges with 1 bar boost gauge set on the tach- 3.3 Turbo Engine with excellent compression (Brand new turbo engines are about 125 psi due to the low 7.5 to 1 compression ratio)#1 115 psi#2 115 psi#3 116 psi#4 113 psi#5 115 psi#6 116 psi(receipt of a rebuild dated 2009 for over 15k)
- Just tuned up when the compression test was done 5/1/17....it has new Nology Spark Plug Wiresand new NGK Spark Plugs, Cap and Rotor also had valves adjusted.
This 911 runs nice, and mechanically healthy. The front and rear bumpers are fiberglass as well as the rocker panels. All power windows and lights and heater work. Interior is clean, its does not have tears or rips. Its equipped with a 915 transmission that shifts well and does not grind or pop out of gear. Turbo spools up nice and has that classic 930 pull from 3k-4k rpm.The Air conditioning unit and parts are all there but the belt is not connected, have never touched it since its a convertible. The smog equipment was left in place since the car was converted in California. The black paint shines nice and is presentable however, the fiberglass bumpers and rocker panels have some cracking that developed and not really noticeable from 10 to 15 ft away. The top works but the back window is cloudy the top is in decent shape and does not leak when its up. The Top may need attention later,Its usually driven with the top down and the boot on so the cloudy rear window was always in the back burner.Overall its a nice driver that shifts well, runs well, handles great and its a fun car that gets a lot of attention. Please do not hesitate to contact me for any questions or concerns.
