1986 Porsche 944 Turbo, "Aka" 951, Good solid driver !

Here is a great Porsche 944 Turbo (951). Its a Solid Driver project car that you can enjoy while tinkering with it or you can make it into a track car like so many others because of its great handling & balance.

Car runs & drives great ! Turbo spools grea, and the car pulls hard. Brakes and clutch work good, Steering is tight. Although there is great tread on the tires, they are old & dry rotted. This car hasn't been on the road for a little bit, It should be gone through.Could use paint but it cleans up nice. Other than the drivers side lower front fender rot, the car is solid everywhere else. I'm sure there was a build up of dirt & crud in that lower fender and it rotted from the inside out.Here are a few things I haven't had the time to look into : Sunroof doesn't operate, it makes noise when pushing the button though. Front wipers don't work, the rear does. I have recently repaired the muffler & hanger assembly, replaced a leaking coolant hose & replacedboth front hood struts.In the pictures look at the dash cluster photo, you'll notice all the gauges working. (car is idling withgood oil pressure, good amps, good coolant temp & rpm's. )

I can help with the loading of the car if it was picked up at my location. I have also delivered vehicles to the shipping port in New Jersey for afair price.
