The 911E model was introduced in 1969, t had a short and limited run producin, bout 12,000 examples over the course of five years. The E designation in the name showed that it was intended to be the luxury based model, riving that point home was the inclusion of a leather wrapped steering wheel, elour carpeting and gold-colored badging on the rear of the car. This particular example is in great shape overall with only a minor few blemishes. The paint on this car is in spectacular shape overall, ith the only issues to note being some very minor rock chips on the front end of the car, scratch on the C-Pillar near the rear window, nd a chip that has been touched up on the passenger side quarter panel. These are all very minor issues and when standing from more than a few feet away, re no longer noticeable. The exterior trim is beginning to show it's age in a few areas, ith some minor hazing on some pieces, nd some very light surface scratches. The bumpers on this 911E are in great shape. Moving onto the interior of the car, he first thing you notice is that the stock steering wheel has been changed out for one with a much more sporty look and feel. The leather on the seats is immaculate, he carpets are in fantastic shape, nd you would be hard pressed to guess that the car has been around for 45 years from sitting inside it. You'd also be hard pressed to guess it's age based off driving it as well, ith Weber carburetors fixed to the engine, his is a car that gets up and goes. It likes to be driven hard and it runs fantastic while doing so. It shifts through all 5 gears with no issues to report. The wheels and tires on this car are in just as great of shape as the rest of the vehicle. This is a 911E that is looking for a driver to take it out and drive it the way these cars were always meant to be driven.
