If you like originality and low miles in a very desirable muscle car, hen this time capsule may be what you're looking for. This beautiful GTA has only 12 K actual documented miles. I purchased this car from a small dealer who specializes in low mileage collector cars back in July of 2013 (I am the 2nd owner). The original owner was an elderly man who purchased this Trans Am GTA new in Urbana, hio. Kept in a heated garage for 26 years with no inclement driving and stored in the same fashion on my premises, he overall condition totally reflects how this Trans Am GTA was pampered.

A beautiful 1987 Trans Am GTA that is in showroom condition in every aspect. No one has ever sat in the back seat. Oil changes were always performed on a regular basis. It was covered while not being driven. Servicing has just been performed and all mechanicals checked perfectly.

Now for the Particulars:

Electrical: Every factory option works perfectly including the power antenna. Hidden headlights work as they should and this car has the rare and desirable Digital Dash option. Air conditioning blows ice cold with the correct R 12 Freon.

Engine: You could eat off of the engine compartment, t's that clean under the hood. the 5.7 litre V8 TPI engine that was shared with the Corvette with lots of power. The engine is very quiet and smooth with no oil leaks.

Interior: Interior is the camel cloth and it is perfect in every way. Shows absolutely no wear of any kind, o fading or stains. You open the door and your first thought would be incredible.

Paint: (Code 74U Flame Red Metallic) in excellent condition. No dings or dents. The paint is in showroom condition with a very deep shine. Also, as always been hand washed.

Rear End: Very quiet, imited slip differential, o leaks.

Transmission: 4 speed automatic. Shifts firm with no drips or leaks. The fluid is very pink and clean and was recently flushed due to it's age.

Wheels and Tires: The tires were the original Goodyear's when I purchased the car in 2013. Since then, have replaced the tires with new BF Goodrich equivalent tires (the Goodyear's are no longer available). The tires have roughly 300 miles on them. The wheels are the GTA 16" Diamond spoke aluminum and are perfect, o corrosion or curb rash and all the weights are on the inside of the wheels.

Undercarriage: Undercarriage was undercoated when new and looks like it was done 6 months ago, ery clean. Also, o scuff marks on underside of front bumper cover and no scuff marks on underside of rocker moldings.

Original Documents: Included in sale is owner's manuals, riginal dealer order form, indow sticker with MSRP of $19,153.00, riginal title, nd all service receipts with mileage documented.

In summary, his is an incredible find of a very desirable, ighly optioned, lmost 30 year old 1987 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am GTA in showroom condition. This was the first year for the GTA series and many believe it was the best, ince it has the racing inspired steering wheel without the gimmickry of the radio controls as found on later years. I am only considering selling this car since I don't find the time to drive it as often as I would like (I have other collectibles as well).
