Car description

1969 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am

VIN: 223379N107305

Check out this gorgeous 1969 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am! This is an original Trans Am, and is 1 of only 697 Firebird Trans Am built in 1969. It is an original, numbers matching Ram Air III 4 speed with only 3 options per the original PMD order sheet: Gauges, including tach and clock, a Muncie M20 4 - Speed Manual Transmission, and push button AM Radio. The result is a no - frills driver's car in the grand Pontiac performance tradition. This Trans Am has been expertly restored by Pontiac specialist Dan Jensen and is in spectacular 100% as original form, right down to the correct factory tags on the ignition lock and shifter boot. As part of the restoration, the engine was run on the dyno and certified as operating within the stock Ram Air III specifications for horsepower and torque. This amazing Pontiac pony car is documented by the Pontiac Historical Society and comes complete with the original Owner's Manual, and Owner Protection Plan. There has been the same owner for the last 36 years. The previous owner purchased this car from the original owner's son after he passed. This car was in very good original condition and 100% complete. Then a full rotisserie restoration was done to make it "Concours quality". This outstanding Trans Am was shown once at the 2008 Trans Am Nationals and won 1st place. From this, the car has been featured in 2 magazines - Pontiac Enthusiasts, May/June '09 and High - Performance Pontiac, April '09. Both magazines highlight the car's exceptional quality. This stunning, well - sorted and rare 1969 Pontiac Trans AM is Concours ready. This amazing Pontiac pony car has been expertly restored and is in 100% as the original form. This is truly a spectacular car. You do not see these cars often, and very rarely see them listed for sale, so don't miss out on your chance to own this spectacular example!
