Car description

There seem to be a lot of $3000 cars, and a lot of $30,000 cars, and not much in between. This is not a shiny "Tribute" car with half the GTO badges, nor is it a rusty pile of "ran when parked" sheetmetal.
Running, driving car!
This is a running, driving car with FACTORY AIR, Power Steering, and automatic. Odo shows 81000 miles, and paperwork supports this. Car was parked in 1992, and resurrected in 2018. Original 326 2-barrel engine runs great, but has pronounced valve noise. Starts easily, and does not smoke. Transmission shifts like it should, but leaks. Steering is tight, and the car is a joy to drive.
You will spend more time driving than you do washing, waxing, or wrenching! Drive it like it is, or transplant your favorite engine and transmission for an instant Rat Rod.
Over $3000 in new/rebuilt parts:
Aluminum radiator
New fuel tank
Brakes all around
Fan belts and hoses
New battery tray
Restored Rally II wheels
Uniroyal Tiger Paw 215/70-15 whitewall tires
1-1/4" front swaybar, 1" rear sway bar
New ACDelco gas shocks
Carburetor and tuneupNew package shelf and trunk divider

The bad news:
Radio sputters, but does not play.
Needs heater core
Transmission leaks
Wiper switch is iffy.
May cause cancer in California.
Carpet and headliner have been removed (clips and bows are all there).
A/C is 95% complete, correct, and original, but untested. System is still closed, and compressor turns by hand. Recommend new hoses (about $200 dollars from Ames) before trying to charge and use the A/C.
The fine print:Car is sold As Is/Where Is. Buyer is responsible for transportation. Car is sold on Bill of Sale. Georgia does not require title on cars this old. Car comes with extensive title history.
