Car description

The Pontiac Le Mans was truly on the wide track for 1964, and today that makes them one cool cruiser. So when you can find a convertible with the right colors, plenty of V8 power, and some nice upgrades - all offered at such a nice price - you're looking at a deal that's always in style. This was a legendary year for Pontiac. The Le Mans got all-new styling to go with an upgrade in size. This... allowed it to really show off the famous Wide-Track theme by giving it two wide grilles and headlights pushed all the way out into the fender line. And the way the chrome bumper rises in the middle to meet the power bulge of the hood really shows off some sporty style. It's no wonder this is the face that started the muscle car craze. And when they hear this one growl, you might even hear some people whisper GTO (more on that in a moment.) More than just the front end, the whole body has a terrific look with crisp panels and door that close with authority. It's all wrapped in a bright red that radiates every time the sunlight hits it - exactly what you want in a sunshine-friendly droptop. If you like the way the crisp black roof looks against the red, then with the flip of a switch, you'll love powering it down to reveal the full black interior. The bucket seats, door panels, and carpeting looks quite correct and well-respected. In fact, this one has a nice original flair, right down to the AM radio that's still cranking out tunes. It feels quite sporty with the center console, floor shift, and machine-turned dash panel. Plus, there are some subtle upgrades like the wood and chrome sports steering wheel and auxiliary gauges to let you know there's something more under the hood, too. This was born a V8 car, and so it's great to see a correct displacement 326 cubic-inch motor still under the hood. The correctly-colored blue block looks great as it stands out in the black engine bay. It was even recently serviced to keep it running strong. The V8 inhales deeply thanks to an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor upgrade. Plus, headers add more power while also contributing to the rumble of the dual exhaust. This enhanced V8 is the perfect pairing in a convertible meant to be driven. That's why you have great features like a TH400 three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, front disc brakes, and modern Michelin tires on Torq Thrust wheels. There are even thick sway bars front and rear. The sale come complete with Pontiac Historic Services (PHS) documentation and maintenance records. When an interesting and well-presented classic like this is also so affordable, you know you need to hurry to grab this deal. Call today!!!
