Car description

70 Lemans with a built 455 and a Turbo-Hydromatic 400. This car has at least $25,000 invested in it to make it the very fast and fun muscle car that I have always wanted. This has been a dream car for me but we are downsizing. Virtually everything that is not body related has been highly upgraded in this car. I personally like the Mad Max/Rust Rod thing going on with this car but it would be awesome if it was fixed up and painted. Obviously it could use body work but much of that has been completed and all of the body parts necessary to complete it are include. It would also make a great GTO clone, especially if you want a very fast one. This car has passed Utah DMV safety inspections many times and registered many times. It is very drivable even with all of the horsepower and torque, and I have driven it frequently in the summer.

The Bad

Rear package tray is rusted but is still structurally sound. Once the package tray and interior bits are installed it should cover up all of the rusted areas.

Bottom of Trunk is rusted as well, but it is still structurally sound. Panels are available new or you could just patch it and put a trunk liner over it. Or just put a trunk liner over it since the rust isn’t that big and this car isn’t going to be driven when it is wet anyway.

Alternator likes to throw its belt. Takes over 100 miles before it happens, but then can be put back on. This has only happened a few times since I replaced alternator. Bracket probably need to be adjusted.
