Car description

With a heavy heart i am going to list this. First it is 100 percent original, paint has never been touched, interior is pristine and original, motor is numbers matching with original mileage at 62,000. I have had Pontiac enthusiast trying to buy this at every car show, so i am listing it to give them all a chance. It is a tin woodie, the woodgrain is pretty faded with only parts of it still showing, i had a guy lined up to redo it, but the pontiac purists said they would hunt me down and basically put an end to my existence. It does have some dents, dings, scratches, but they all tell a story, most of them i do not know, some i do. This is NOT a barn find, it is a well loved, maintained piece of history. Most of the Pontiac restores feel it is one of a few all originals left. I changed the voltage regulator last year and it was stamped 1953 on the back. This was ordered with almost every option imaginable it even has the optional oil filter, windshield washer, glove box light, etc. This is the 6 person edition with folding seat to make it all flat in the back. It has only 2 small areas of rust under the trim by the back wheels thats it, no body work ever done. The engine purrs and sounds like it should for its age, the automatic transmission shifts perfect, it does not burn, leak, use, oil. It is in storage at the moment and i hope if your interested you will come look for yourself. I can take more pictures if needed it is just a hour down the road from me, and this is a spur of the moment decision, i may take this down at any moment and change my mind. This car gets more attention at the icecream shop full of grandkids than you could ever imagine, and when someone realizes its 100 percent original it blows them away, besides its not a Chevy and its super nice at a car show to not be one. It does have the original woodgrain headliner in tact. If you have any questions i will try to fight back my tears and answer them, thanks for looking.

I was able to get some more pics today, i tried to get the dents and dings, if your looking for a perfect car this is not flawless, it is an amazing survivor with a lot of stories. I drive this 20 miles per year and change the oil every year, so yes i would trailer it. For those asking about trades Chevy C10 64-66 only. For those asking about reserve look it up on NADA im somewhere close to the low end, i do realize how special and rare this all original car is. The factory marks are still on the firewall from factory testing. I never never wash this car, it has not seen water in a very very long time i refuse to put water down the doors or into any crevice. There is still the oil change stickers stacked on top of each other on the drivers door, the last one on top says 1971 41,000 miles it is now just over 61,000. There are some dents on the roof nothing unfixable but to me untouchable as i cant bring myself to touch any of the originality of this car, mostly the reason i am selling i like to fix things, and i feel i cant touch it. I do have the hubcaps for those who noticed the 1950 hubcaps on it now, the car is known as the chief locally and i think the 1950 hubcaps say that a little more than the 1953s.
