:

This is your chance for a great looking and great driving GTO convertible, without the $50,000 price tag. This one has the GTO look you want as well as the 389 Tri-Power performance to go with it. The Sunfire Red paint is slick and the body alignment is very good. The hood, trunk and doors open and close beautifully. No evidence of filler repairs or poor body work, very solid and clean. It has had repairs made to the rear lower quarters and trunk, but they are top quality repairs and excellently done, please see the photos. I do know the engine is not original and was installed later. From the factory it was a 326ci V8 and was upgraded to a 389ci V8 number 79J from another 64 GTO and finished off with the Tri-Power intake and carbs. It has been rebuilt and runs amazing. Estimated engine mileage is around 4,500. The POWER top is new and functions beautifully.

This car just as it is now starts right up and drives great! Everything is working and in top shape. It has a smooth note through the dual exhaust and cruises easy but will growl and move when you open the triple carbs. The engine is powerful but easily controllable and has a very smooth idle for just enjoying a country drive with the top down. The 2spd transmission operates properly and I have driven this car at 70mph without any issues. Lots of nice options, bucket seats, lap belts, cigar lighter. I will include a floor shift console with the sale if you want to convert it to a floor shift. The car has factory power steering and factory power front disc brakes as well, making driving enjoyable and effortless. A very great looking, great driving classic!

Tires are great with deep tread. The trim is all in pretty great original condition. This car has been stored indoors in a private collection. All of the glass is good and works perfect. The radio works like new and the glovebox is in good condition. The steering wheel is in good condition and the horn operates properly. The interior is in great shape. The bucket seats appear near mint and very comfortable. The gauges and lights all work. The weatherstripping is in good condition and appears to have been replaced when this car was restored. The car runs and drives amazing. I have driven it alot for testing and pleasure and it is alot of fun and gets alot of attention. The car has no mechanical problems. We are confident that you could drive this car anywhere. This car also comes with a cool matching miniature GTO keychain so you dont forget which car the keys go to.

Cruise in style this summer with the top down, this one is available just in time!
Complete original matching numbers big block 64 GTO Convertibles are into the $45k - $75k range, making this beauty a bargain. You won’t find a nicer combination of performance and style and it makes for a great collectible or pleasure vehicle. Don't miss out on a chance to own what is arguably considered the first muscle car, ready to enjoy now.

We are collectors first,...

We are not just here to sell cars. We are just like you, collectors and lovers of vintage automobiles. We believe vintage vehicles to be a great investment, and one of the only investments you can actually enjoy. We also believe there is a classic car out there to fit nearly every need and budget. From Ferrari to Gremlin every vintage car has an interesting history and character and can be thoroughly enjoyable.

You can feel confident in buying a car from us, because you are not just buying an 'old, used car'. We have been buying and selling vintage cars now for over 20 years, and are looking for the same qualities you are in the cars we sell. You can be sure that every vehicle we offer has received a 100 point inspection and is fully road tested by experienced technicians. We want every light to work, every switch to operate properly and every mechanical feature to be functional. While this is not always completely possible, we will make whatever repairs we can to bring any vehicles we buy up to these standards before we offer it for sale. And we will not sell any vehicle until it is considered 'complete' and we have personally driven it ourselves. We expect every vehicle to be a great representation of its Make/Model, completely functional and street drivable for enjoyment without undue fear of mechanical failure or safety. We are collectors as well, and hope for the same buying experience you do, a good quality, easily drivable vehicle.

If you are looking to get into a classic car without spending a fortune this would be the opportunity for you. We do consider trades in the specialty or classic category. We can also discuss payment terms or options. We are happy to try and make a deal.
