1962 Pontiac Grand Prix Listed on behalf of the owner. Located in PORTLAND, OREGON. This 1962 Grand Prix was produced at the Pontiac Southgate, California factory and remained a California car for the next 40 years. About 15 years ago it received a premium full restoration to show level. Body repainted in correct "Cameo Ivory". Restored and detailed undercarriage. Correct "Guard Red" interior with excellent "Morrokide" upholstery. Fully optioned with Grand Prix package including bucket seats, tachometer, Wonder Bar AM radio with rear seat speaker, power windows, 8-bolt finned aluminum wheels and FACTORY AIR CONDITIONING. Mechanically, this Grand Prix is excellent. Fully rebuilt 389 cubic inch V8. 10.25:1 compression. 303 horsepower. Carter AFB 4-barrel carburetor. Very correct engine bay. This car runs and drives beautifully. See video of engine running. Plenty of power and it GOES! Power steering and power brakes. The "wide track" holds the road with nimble handling. No wonder these were so coveted back in the day. Great style, power and handling, all in a beautifully restored package. What more could you want?
