Car description

Up for your consideration is a nice, survivor condition 1964 Pontiac Lemans convertible.

Selling my baby of seven years. Not a barn find but an old fire station find.
The original lacquer paint isSkyline Blue and has not been repainted as far as I can tell. Rebuilt original 2 bbl 326 and 2-speed trans with less than 6,000 miles on them. Brakes are 4 wheel drum but have been upgraded to power with dual master and stainless brake lines for safety. Top replaced in 2012. Carpet kit installed within the last month. The remainder of the interior is original with the exception of a few smalls.

Odometer shows just under 31,000 so I would only imagine it is 131,000 on the body. I willbe driving the car occasionally but I can't see adding more than 800milesprior to sale. I rebuilt the engine and transmission as well as completed all of the mechanical work at 126,692 miles.
Original California black plate car and I was told it spent most of it's life with one family. I have one of the black plates and some expired registrations.
Power steering
Power top
2 speed wipers WITHOUT the squirter option
AM radio
Console
PHS documentation
Upgrades:

OEM boxed control arms
Rear sway bar
Larger front sway bar
OEM Pontiac sun visor mirror
Oil and temp guage
OEM retractable trunk light
4 core radiator
Car runs and drives beautiful and has not been molested in any way that I can see. I purchased the car with the intentions of keeping it as original as possible.

It has dents, dings and touch ups but still looks great and gets plenty of compliments. It could still use a little TLC if you want but it is absolutely drivable as is. I did a 1000 mile round trip in 100 plus temps and it performed great.
It has a couple of small holes in the trunk but it is still very solid (especially in the important spots) and most importantly, you won't lose your stuff while driving down the road. Two very SMALL soft spots on the lower passenger quarter on the exhaust side. For a 53 year old original it is SOLID!!! The floor pans and frame are solid as a rock.
It can be left as is, easy restore or (GULP) make it a GTO clone.
Asking $23,000.00. I am aware its not a GTO but is is a solid car that you can see exactly what your getting and all of the metal is original.
The reason for selling is I don't drive it enough. I don't do car shows or cruise nights- it's just not my thing. It's time for someone else to enjoy. It's been garaged since Ive owned it and don't drive it in rain, snow or salt covered roads (I always waited until many spring rains to be sure the roads were clear of salt).

The car is sold as is without warranty. It is not new, mint or near perfect by any means so do not expect it to be. $300.00 deposit due within the first 24 hours after hitting the BIN. Balance due would be cash preferred ora bank wire transfer. It is listed locally and on other venues so this listing can end at any time.

Buyer is responsible for all shipping arrangements.

Please review all photos prior to hitting the Buy It Now so you fully understand the condition of the car. I have many more photos and can provide specific if requested. Please contact me with any questions.
