Car description

1969 PONTIAC FIREBIRD
4 SPEED--400 ENGINE
So here's the story on this car
I found the car in 2009 and purchased it. The car was from Georgia and had been sitting for years. It was a complete car and arestorationof the body and vehicle had been started.
I purchased the car because it was a 4 speed 400 and I wanted to turn it into a Trans Am recreation and customize it to my specifications to enjoy.
I sent my car dealerships flatbed to Georgia to pick up the car and shipped it to Florida Pontiac who was a well known Pontiac specialist in Stuart Florida.
Florida Pontiac then gave me a restoration estimate and work was started.
You can see the handwrittenestimateand notes from FL Pontiac in one of my pictures.
The car wasdisassembledand they started the restoration. Lots of time went by and I kept getting partial bills but the restoration was slow and never completed.
I paid $9000 for the car and spent a lot of money at the body shop bringing the car up to its current condition.
Ialso have over $6500 in new parts in the box ready to be put on the car. You can see a detailed list of the parts in the pictures. They include a complete Deluxe Blue interior kit including seats, seatbelt, headrests, carpet, headliner, etc.. Also a new Trans Am hood and wood steering wheel, seat foam, seat backs, dash pad, door knobs, handles, visors, etc. new spoiler. Power window motors for front and rear, new dash carrier assembly ($419) and much more...
Then unfortunately FL Pontiac went bankrupt and was evicted from their shop. I was called to pick up my car and received it back in 2012 in the condition you see it.
It has been parked inside our storage area at our car dealership since 2012.
The car should be a great quick project for someone to complete and enjoy the car.
I am not a restoration guy--just a guy with money that loves old cars and got burned.
Basically the car needs painted, a set of wheels and the engine rebuilt and installed in the car and the interior put together with the new parts I have. I also have two engines and whoever buys this gets both, You will see them in the pictures. I do question if he gave me back the right engine for this car?? which I have no idea unfortunately --there is a 400--I also have a 455 engine that you may have as well--i would like both gone as I am just cleaning house.
When I bought the car--the guy selling it to me left these notes
