1966 Plymouth Belvedere Convertible

1966 Plymouth Belvedere Convertible - 318ci with 3-speed on the column, 34,195 actual miles. Red with black interior and matching black convertible top. Original window sticker and Certi-card still with the car.

Exterior - This Plymouth makes an excellent appearance as shown in the photos. The bright red paint has a very deep glossy shine and shows very little blemishes. Some smaller chips have been touched up in various spots of the car. None large enough to note. The black convertible top is in excellent shape with only minor fogging of the rear window. The car is straight and solid. All pinch welds and factory seams look excellent. Body panel gaps appear as good as when this car was new. The glass in the car is in excellent shape, very clear, no chips or scratches. All stainless trim is in very good shape, to be perfect it could stand a light polishing. All chrome is in very nice shape, very very slight pitting on vent windows, does not take away from the car. Grill is in excellent shape, no dents or dings, still nice and bright. Underneath the car has been cleaned and painted black. It make a good appearance but the car has not had a rotisserie restoration. I would consider the underneath of the car to be a nice driver quality. Trunk is in excellent shape, shows how solid this car really is. New trunk mat was recently added. A set of skirts come with the car as well.

Interior - The interior which is mostly original is in excellent shape. Front and rear seats are nice and black, not faded and does not show any signs of excessive wear. No rips or tears in the seats. Door panels are in good shape, not perfect. The dash in in very good shape, instrument cluster looks excellent, very bright and all trim is still in good shape.

Mechanically  - The car starts up easy and purrs like a kitten. The dual exhaust has a nice throaty sound to it but it is not too loud. Car goes down the road nice and straight and stops as it should. The car has factory power steering which is a huge plus. It is very easy to drive! Newer redline radials on factory steel wheels with factory wheel covers give the car a nice original look. The motor which we believe to be original to the car, has been upgraded with a newer carburetor and an aftermarket intake manifold. Original manifold and 2-barrel carb will come with the car. The power convertible top goes up and down as it should, it does go up a little slow, but on its own power.

Overall this car is ready to go. It looks very sharp and catches eyes wherever it goes. It is a car you can take anywhere and not worry about the car making it. Would be hard to find another car in this shape for the money! I try to be as critical as possible in my listings and have sold every car I have listed on eBay. Everyone's "nice" is different - the best way to get an idea of the car is to come see and drive it in person!
