Car description

1970 Roadrunner - been off the road since 1979. Texas car so it survived quite nicely. Brand new trunk floor just installed, seats were all redone a few years ago and look very nice. Interior doesn't need much to be usable, just freshen up the dash. Exterior needs work around the rear window and lower quarters behind each wheel and on top and front of the driver side. All patchable without a full quarter, but that's whomever's preference. Substructure, trunk extensions are all very usable. Engine starts and runs, goes forward and reverse, and both front and rear brakes were redone to stop the car. BUT the rubber grommets are crumbling, so the car "lot drives" and that's it, not road worthy, exhaust is open no mufflers installed. Just a front end rebuild away from road-worthiness in my opinion. Torque boxes, frame rails, floor pans all look really good, no issues I can see. The floor looks like it was possibly reinforced on the driver back side as I see rivets but it's blended really nicely. Grind those rivets and you would never know. I do know I had my body guy coat the trunk floor with epoxy, and the entire cabin floor also, so the only metal work this car needs is rear window and quarter panel attention. And it's just typical mopar back window and quarter patches. This car hasn't been stuffed full of bondo and painted to cover this...
The dash VIN matches the door tag matches the radiator support matches the trunk lip, but there is no fender tag or build sheet. 383 does not numbers match, if it did it would smoke like crazy for sitting that long. This motor starts and runs and does not smoke. I think this car was originally a column shift car, and was changed to the console (which I do that too on all of my cars). Since the car was not repainted, this is 100% a Plum Crazy Road Runner, UV light burned through the paint.
8 track player is still in the dash, dash is complete. headlights work, turn signals half work probably just bulbs. You could have this car on the road in a weekend's of work. And it's a pretty quick metal job/paint job and I can certainly recommend someone who can do the work.

I have 100% feedback and expect to keep it that way. This is a project car and is running to easily load onto a transport. International Buyers are welcome, Not my first rodeo with that. Deposit is not refundable -serious buyers only please.
Clear Texas title in my name, car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. I can provide my brokers name for transportation quotations. All funds most post before car leaves my shop.
I also have a 1970 GTX v-code race car and a 1968 Coronet project car available so check my other auctions. Thanks for looking!
