Car description

This is 1 of 20 Hemi Road Runners reportedly sold in Canada in 1969. It is of investment grade and retains the original, numbers matching, drivetrain. It features a black bench seat interior, standard bore 426 Hemi, and 4 speed transmission. Also includes: Air Grabber hood, power steering, power disk brakes, tachometer and an AM radio. The body was rust free prior to restoration except for the bottom few inches of the rear quarter panels, below the trunk, which were replaced. All components including the gauges work perfectly. The car needs nothing.

An out-of-town oil rig worker purchased the Road Runner new in Calgary, Alberta. He saw the car displayed on a turntable at a local Plymouth dealership one weekend and waited around until Monday to buy and drive the car back to his hometown of Watson, Saskatchewan. It remained in Saskatchewan until I purchased it, as the fourth owner, in 2012.

In July, 2017, a prospective purchaser claims to have telephoned Mopar guru, Galen Govier, and spent approximately 1.5 hours and $700 discussing the Road Runner's authenticity. He said Galen viewed the photos, including serial numbers, and certainly had nothing negative to say about the car.

The Road Runner is located in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada; two hours north of the Osoyoos, BC / Oroville, WA border crossing.

Note to US Buyers: I have been told by a Washington state Border Broker that US citizens need only show up at US Customs (or use a Broker), fill out Form 7501 and pay $13.05, to import the car. No duty or taxes are payable at US Customs.
