Car description

Please take the time to check out the pictures. They tell a graphic story of what a great old Packard this is. I have owned the car for ten years and did work necessary to make it driveable, as I think it had sat for some time. It has had the brakes gone through with new linings and all new wheel cylinders. This is an honest, driver-quality Packard that you can enjoy as is or continue to refine. It is in the showroom of an original Packard dealership and is seen and admired by many on a regular basis.
The steering wheel is cracked and the rim needs to be recast. The right rear quarter glass is cracked. The speedometer reads 15,562 miles and I believe it probably has 115,562actual miles, but I CANNOT Guarantee mileage. The car is sold as-is with no guarantee either expressed or implied.

I am going to be moving to another state and because of that, I will be selling a number of cars that simply don't fit into my future plans. If you have any specific questions, please feel free to call me at any time. My cell phone is 308-631-2100 and if you call during evening hours or on a weekend, please call my home phone at 308-436-4874. I am familiar with shipping cars over long distances and can assist in getting the car to your door.

I have had several e-mails regarding the "background" in the pictures. No, the signs are NOT photoshoped and the building is real. I am fortunate to own what I believe is the last operating Packard dealership in America. It was built in 1936 by a German immigrant, Joseph Straetker and he continued to run it and sell parts and service cars, until his death in 1986, twenty years after Packard ceased production. I have owned the building for ten years and have tried to restore it to be a duplicate of a Packard dealership in about 1940. It is a very stout structure and provides me offices for my real business of commercial and agricultural real estate. Thanks to everyone for the many kind words about the site.
I will add that I am in the process of getting ready to move out of state and if anyone would be interested, the building will be sold. Call me with any questions.
