Car description

Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that... I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the 70+ photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 1994 Chevrolet K2500 Silverado. I would rate the exterior of this Silverado to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking truck. It is finished in Tan with matching Tan cloth interior. The finish shines nicely for its age and looks smooth all around. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. On this specific Chevy, the worst I can say is that there is some visible rust here and there...which is nothing to fault an old truck for. There is visible rust through on the right rear fender and on the right cab extension. There is some lesser rust here and there, but what I mentioned is the only stuff worth specifically noting. The body lines are nice and straight. I could not get the hood to pop (a 2nd person to give it a tug while the other pulls the lever would probably do the trick) but the doors and tail gate all open and close easily. There are a few pieces of molding missing around the outside, but nothing of any consequence. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The chrome trim shows well for its age, too. The factory steel wheels show well and are wrapped in a matching set of rubber with average tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how nice this old truck came in. I would rate the interior of this Silverado to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean, too. The carpets are thick and full looking throughout the interior. An original set of factory rubber floor mats are included. The optional cloth seats are clean, comfortable and show virtually no wear. In fact, this is a very well optioned truck. It has the Silverado package...which gives you power windows and locks, upgraded stereo, air conditioning, nicer seats and a power seat. The power windows, locks and seat all work properly. The audio system is original and sounds good through the factory speakers. The climate control system also appears to be working properly. The heater works well but it is too cold to confirm that the air conditioner is cooling effectively. The rear seat is roomy enough for adults or can be used to keep your stuff sheltered from the elements. This Silverado comes complete with the original owner's books as well as the original window sticker from new!!! In fact, this Silverado has over $6,000 in options alone (in 1994 dollars). Again, please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this truck looks. Mechanically, this K2500 appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 350ci V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good for an old truck. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and excellent oil pressure. The big V8 feels strong and makes plenty of power. This truck has the factory towing package and a Traction Lock 3.73 rear end. The 4WD system is the old trusty manual lever so no worries about the push button system failing you. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts normally with zero issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. The only thing I saw that this truck needs is a new tail pipe. The muffler is there, but the tail pipe that exits the muffler is gone. This truck is a local NEW CAR TRADE and has a current PA safety and emissions inspection good through the end of April, 2019. If you're looking for a rock solid old truck, this well cared for K2500 deserves a close look. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
