This beautiful 1966 Ford Mustang was purchased from a gentleman in North Carolina that did the complete restoration and has been the sole owner since completed. He started with a rust free car, purchased in South Carolina. The traditional black and gold paint are the perfect colors for this coupe, and a tribute to the Hertz Rent-A-Racer Mustang. Under the hood sits a new Ford Racing 5.0L Coyote Crate Engine matched up to a Phoenix built 4R70W 4 speed automatic transmission and the heavy duty Ford 9 " rear end. Everything on this car is new with under 7,500 one owner miles since completed in 2016. The car comes with a folder including every receipt for everything purchased during the restoration. The car was a 3 - year project totally rebuilt with all new parts where needed. To include TCI suspension front and rear, and Wilwood 4 Wheel Disc Brakes. This car was built to drive anywhere. It has won Editor's choice award at Mustang week, 1st place at Ocala FL Ford and Mustang Show (64 thru 66) along with many other local awards.
