Car description

This is a real 1963-1/2 Falcon Sprint. With only 10,479 Sprint Hardtops ever made in this body style, they are a rare sight to see, and will always draw a crowd. Mine is an exceptional beauty, and I really hate to part with it. Jay Leno even has one if you want to look it up on U-Tube. This car came from the factory with a 260 V-8 and a T-10 Four Speed. The 260 has been replaced with a freshly built 302 with aluminum heads, and has more than double the horsepower of the original engine. This car did come with the Special Sprint Tachometer that mounts on the center of the dash. This was a strange Ford design that had the ballast wire running through it, which then ran to the positive side of the coil. If the Tach burned out, you were left stranded. With Electronic Ignition, you need a full 12 volts, plus the Sprint Tach would not work in any other configuration, so I replaced it with a modern one. The original Sprint Tach with the mounting bracket will come with the car, and was in working condition when I pulled it. The body did have some rust prior to paint, and it was cut out with new metal welded in. Those areas were finished with waterproof materials, plus the back side was treated with Por-15 to insure it will not come back. The floors were reinforced by the prior owner and sprayed with two component truck Bed liner. Sound deadening material was also added at that time. It runs and drives very well, and has had thousands of dollars and hundreds of shop hours invested in it.

Here is a rundown:

· Professionally Built 302 running Ford Aluminum SVO Heads, Motorsport Aluminum Intake, Ford Racing Valve Covers, Ford Performance Electronic Ignition W Rev Control by MSD, plus a Street Performance Cam with just the right amount of lope to it.

· Original T-10 4 Speed Running Redline MTL w/ new Clutch, Pressure Plate and Throw-out Bearing

· New Aluminized Progressive Exhaust System W/ Welded, Chambered Mufflers

· All New front End Components and Brakes

· New 14x7 Supreme Wheels W/ all New Radial Tires

· New Front Coil Springs and Monte Carlo Bar

· New Front Shocks, New Rear Air Shocks W/ Separate Fill Valves

· Very High Quality Guards Red Basecoat Clearcoat paint over a thoroughly massaged, straight body w/ Under Hood, Trunk, and all Jambs Freshly Painted as well

· New Tail Light Lenses, plus Inner and Outer Gaskets

· New Dennis Carpenter Door Rubber

· New Trunk Rubber

· Body has Excellent Gaps Everywhere; Doors open and shut Smoothly, Glass all rolls up and down smoothly. There is a bullseye chip in the windshield, but no cracks of any kind

· New Ignition Switch, plus New matching locks for the Doors and Switch

· New Auto Gauge Tach mounted in the correct location along with Sun Pro Water, Battery, Oil and Vacuum Gauges

· Restored Factory Interior including dash pad in Red, White, and Blue

· Restored Factory AM Radio w/ New center Speaker

· AM/FM CD Player mounted under dash with Front and Rear speakers. Great sound

· Speedo, Fuel Gauge, Heater, Wipers, lights, Blinkers all work correctly. Horn and windshield washer needs looked at, but the components are all there

· New clips for side molding. Front and Rear Bumpers were re-chromed about 10 years ago. Front had some small chips in the chrome that have been touched up

This Sprint really gets the attention. I could drive it to Florida tomorrow, and would be confident the trip would be trouble free. It handles highway driving with ease and tracks very well. As with all used vehicles it will be sold “as-is”, so please ask any questions ahead of time, and please only bid if you have cash in hand. If you need to get a loan or want it professionally inspected, this must be done Before the Auction ends. I will need a 500 dollar deposit at the close of the auction by way of PayPal, with the balance due in the form of Cash, Cashiers Check or Bank Transfer within 5 Business Days. All checks will need to clear my bank before the Sprint can be released. It will come with a Clear Oregon State Title in my Name.

Thanks, TJ
