Red 1969 Intermeccanica Murena GT

1969 Intermeccanica Murena is one of only eleven ever built. Two were featured together in 2009 and they were each owned by Elvis Presley and Dean Martin. No info is given on the ownership history of this car, ut it does need a full restoration. We don't really have any idea what Intermeccanica was thinking with these, ut hey, t was 1969, nd the celebrity market was begging for Italian wagons with American V8 power.We've seen several types of taillights in photos, ut all the cars seem to have Torque-Thrust alloy wheels. We would have guessed them fiberglass bodies, ut this one has rust in the door bottoms that proves otherwise.Inside the big flat dash looks down on an angular console with automatic shifter.The interior is mostly intact aside from the door panels.The serial number tag is shown with *6900414* stamped in place. We haven't come across a registry of the other 8 carsA nice clean up will make this car look fantastic, t just needs a special owner who is willing to clean it up.
