rare 1968 OPEL GT COLLECTIBLE

this auto ( Opel GT ) has been in family for over 30 years. my dad traded for it for me to restore ( previous owner was trying to make race car out of it but gave up. ) Car is original with 1100 engine and 4 speed trans. I lost my garage and it has been sitting outside. It is in rough shape and needs total restoring -. lots of rust thru in floor board . seats are removed and not available . drivers door is removed but available . was removed to fix dent in it . tires are bad and needs replacement tail light are off but sitting in box in car. . speed meter shows mileage of 53929 that I believe to be correct due to me tracing previous owners . It is very rare and was hand made by Opel for use in a few Buick dealerships in the U. S. A as demos for the 1969 model sales. . and as I was told and saw in dealer ship in Marion . Va. to the best of my knowledge. it is even more rare as it has the 1100 engine ( not the 1900 that most had when imported. ) to my knowledge this is original engine ( does not run - linkage is missing to cards - it has 2 carbs. ) windshield is with it but not in it the radiator is missing . tires are bad. on right rear a dent is at edge of body lip but not major dent ( can be fixed . has primer over original green paint. Title is lost . can not find in my dads papers. buyer will need to pick up on sight as I do not furnish transportation. . payment thru pay pal thru e bay. Having been a body and paint man myself this is a auto that can be restored buck to original condition. and its history of being a rare vehicle. is desirable I believe to someone who has time and patience to do the rebuilding correctly. it is sold as is where is . this is a very very rough auto having as it appears not to have been wrecked but welds at window post s and floor board where previous owner was trying to decide to put a v-8 race engine in it to make a race car. apparently he gave up as it appears that the engine and mounts etc remain original --- . really is a project that could offer great returns due to being rare.
