| An all original matching number 1955 Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight with 56,050 real miles. It has had one repaint in 1988 and still looks great today, you would think the car was done in the last year. The interior is all original except the headliner and sun visors. It has the original 324 CI rocket engine with 185 HP and the hydra-matic transmission. Jack Issacs inherited the car in 1986 from his step-father and kept the car until he died in March 2019. It has always been kept in a climate controlled garage and it was his pride and joy. It has been a show car since it was redone and won many shows including the National Olds Car Club show in Columbus, Ohio in 1990. The bottom of this car is as good as the top. I have had the gas tank cleaned and resealed with a new sending unit. I also cleaned all gas and brake lines, rebuilt the carb and installed a new water pump. It has all new brakes including master cylinder, hoses, shoes, and wheel cylinders. I have been driving the car and it preforms, starts, and runs excellent. Every light and gauge works, but radio. There cannot be a better example of a 55 Olds than this one. It is 100% rust-free with all original panels, paint, and trim are excellent. You must see and drive this car to appreciate it.
