Car description

I am relisting due to a bidder who won the auction, but did not pay. Serious bidders only. Fraudulent bidders will be reported to Ebay, like the last guy. Ask questions and I will be glad to answer them to the best I can.
Complete and non-running- Put some mechanical work and TLC into it and drive it. Nice patina and good bones. Factory black color. A good, straight car for restoration. Mostly a North Carolina car that was in the same family for about 52 years.
Power windows, power seat, power brakes and power steering. Motor is the 324-cid V8 Rocket with HydraMatic transmission. Previous owner said it is a 1955 Olds motor his dad replaced back in the '60's. I placed a breaker bar on the crank and the motor turns. There is a trailer hitch that was installed in the '60's. Car sat in garage for many years. Last tagged in 1971. Body is overall solid for it age. There is a small area in front of the rear wheel well that needs addressed and an old repair below the trunk (see photos). A few small dents on hood, but nothing that cannot be repaired. Floors feel solid, as is the trunk. Gutters are rock solid. Doors shut effortlessly and latch like new. The interior is original but needs restored. All glass is complete and intact. Taillamps were removed by previous owner, however, I have a couple of sets of nice taillamp assemblies that go with the car. Chrome and stainless is straight and nice, except for a few pieces that have some dents. Bumpers and grille are complete but will need restored and rechromed. I do not have the hood letters or the "Holiday" scripts that go on the fenders. Also, there is no "Oldsmobile Ninety Eight" script on the trunk. They were already gone when I purchased the car.
* Not included, but I have several thousand dollars worth of NOS and good original parts that could be purchased after the sale, if interested....this ad is for the car only. *
I have a clear North Carolina title in my name.
Car sold as-is. No warranty. Sale is final.* The car is an inoperable vehicle.* It needs to be completely gone through (brakes, engine, electrical, etc) to be ready for the road. I am selling it as a restoration project)
Buyer is responsible for arranging pick-up and delivery.
$500 deposit due at end of auction. **All funds must clear before vehicle is released**
