I purchased this car form a North Carolina shop who obtained it from an elderly gentleman's car collection. He has always collected Movie Prop cars and this one has been stored in his barn since 1996. Jennifer Grey sat in the back seat while her father Jerry Orbach drove the car in the movie with his family. This is the actual car that is in the movie and originally purchased in Virgina. His wife drove the car around town for a few years then parked the car. The engine is not seized up and was started with gas a couple years ago, y pouring gas into the carb. Since purchasing the car in 2014, have bought a gas tank and rust-proofed the underside and trunk. The only body damage is a minor dent in the back valance panel and the back bumper. Most of the trim was removed but is all in the trunk with every embelm. The interior, arpeting and dash is in great shape for it's age. The car is very solid and has very little rust. This car is all original since the movie with zero modifications. This is a great piece of history and would make a amazing piece in someone's car collection.

I have too many projects, m getting too old and tired, orry to say, ust let this one go. Put a external fuel pump in, nstall the gas tank and sender, dd a paint job, nd this could be a driver in no time, ith a story to tell as well!
