1955 Hudson Metropolitan Convertible "Like a Nash" wth Flying Lady Hood Orniment

This is a NO RESERVE AUCTION.

1955 Hudson Metropolitan with Rare optional flying lady hood ornament. Ebay didnt offer Hudson as a Manufacturer option so I listed it as a Nash. The Metropolitan was only made under the Hudson Brand for 2 years. This car runs and drives well. The Brakes work but could use some fine tuning. The carburetor and gas tank have been cleaned. This car was in a heated garage for many years and has just been put back on the road. There are a hand full of adjustments and minor fixes that should be made prior to being a daily driver. The odometer shows 3722.

I would consider this a cosmetic fixer though you could just drive it and enjoy it as it is or due a full restoration. I see No signs of rust through holes on any of the body panels or floorboards.

The Windshield and door glass is in perfect condition.

The Horn works well.

The turn signals work well.

The Headlights and taillights are not working at this time.

The Speedometer doesn't work due to a broken cable just outside of the transmission.

The Fuel Guage doesn't work

The Radio doesn't work

The generator does not charge the battery at this time

The factory fuel pump needs rebuild, he car is running on an electrical fuel pump at this time.

The Convertible Top needs replaced.

The Paint has many blemishes, ome of which have been touched up.

I would like to reiterate that the Engine and TransmissionRun Amazingly Well with no problems whatsoever.
