1949 Nash 600-AMAZING ORIGINAL CONDITION-NO RUST-FULLY ROADWORTHY!!

This is about as straight and rustfree bathtub Nash as you're likely to ever find! No rusthrough anywhere! Odometer shows 58k and I believe it to be correct but of course cant officially verify. It was originally a 6 cylinder 3 speed car when I got it but #6 cylinder on the engine had problems so I installed a rebuilt engine and three speed overdrive from a 1949 parts coupe I had. The engine idles so quiet you can hardly hear it running. I used the original overdrive wiring loom and controls. I do have the original engine and transmission which will go if the car if desired. I left the original rear axle in the car so it is geared slightly higher than normal but the car pulls it easily. Will cruise at 65if desired. Brakes work good-rear shoes are thin and should be replaced and I have the parts on hand. The car is fully roadworthy and with the electric fuel pump will start even after months of storage. The seats and door panels have been redone-the headliner is good but has pulled out of back window slightly. Floor mats show some wear. Instruments all work but the gas gauge is intermittent and inaccurate (imagine that!). Body is nearly perfect with almost no dents and the original paint except for the drivers door which looks like it was painted at some point. Tires are new. Heater works and wipers sort of work. This is a car you can enjoy jus the way it is or take it to the next level with a paint job. Selling as I'm retired and trying to reduce my herd to a reasonable number.
