1993 Surf Blue Rover Mini Cooper

Featuring 1275cc TBI Single Point Fuel Injected 4 Cylinder Engine. Car Has 4 Speed Full Syncro Gearbox With a 3/1 Final Drive Ratio, Which Makes Highway Cruising a Pleasant Driving Experience. Body is Solid with only Minor Imperfections. Bottom of Windshield Corner Just Below Windscreen There Are a Few Small Chips and Bubbles. Smaller Than Pencil Head and Not in Usual Lower Corner Where Fenders Meet Cowl. My Years of Experience with Mini's Has Shown Me This is Usually From Bad Windshield Install Where Paint is Nicked And Allows Water To Get Under Paint. Under Side Of Cowl Corners Solid. As Are the Original Floors and Sills (Rocker Panels). Car Retains Original Front Fenders And Nose Panel. "A " Panels are In Very Good Condition And Original Battery Box Is Also Solid. This is Typical OF A JDM Classic Mini's As They Are Not Exposed To The Same Harsh UK Conditions. Car Was Repainted To Surf Blue And Was Originally Metallic BRG. Paint Still Maintains Most Of It's Gloss, But Is Showing Some Fading and Nicks, Chips. Very Presentable But I'd Rate It a 7-8 Out of 10. Interior Is Tidy, Carpet Was Replaced At Some Point With Light Blue MPI Carpet.
Front Seats Have Headrests And Recline. Door Handles Are Cooper Alloy Fair Shape and Blue Door Cards. Instrumentation Features Center Mounted Mk1 Cooper S Style Binnacle With Water Temp, Fuel and Oil Pressure Gauge. A Steering Column Mounted Tachometer Finishes Off The Array. Speedo Has Obviously Been Replaced When Center Cluster Was Installed and Has 140 KPH Speedo Showing A Little Over 10k Kms Since Install. TMU and Title Is Mileage Exempt Due To Age Of Mini. Open MK1 Style Dash Tray is Covered With a Black Vinyl Finisher. Chrome Center Ash Tray Was Installed. Interior Heater Is In Standard Location With The Addition of A Passengers Foot Well A/C Unit. Air Works and Blows Cold With 3 Speed Blower Unit. Car Has Two Speed Wipers.
Under Hood Is Extremely Well Detailed and Very Clean. New VC Gasket, Plugs and Oil. Ready To Drive To Your Next Show. 1275cc Engine Runs Smooth and Pulls Nicely As Do All The Injected Minis. I've Had Many Injected Classic Mini's and They Are a No Fuss Ride. No Choke Or Carb To Fiddle With and Leak. Car Has 75 PSI Oil Pressure and No Smoke. Transmission Shifts Smooth All Syncros Are In Good Shape. Clutch Grabs Well, No Chatter Or Slippage. Hydraulics are Smooth. Brakes Stop Quickly and Handbrake Is Adjusted Perfectly. Car Has Rover Factory Mags With 145-12" Tires and Are Very Good Almost Full Tread. Car Runs Down The Road At Speed Very Quietly. Shocks and Suspension Are In Good Shape And Ride Is As Good As Any Dry Mini. I've Owned And Restored Mini's For Almost 40 Years Now. Am Well Known In Mini Community and Have Tried To Honestly Describe This Classic Mini. Bought For My Wife A While Ago, But She Now Would Like A SportPak.
All In All A Nice Driving Mini Offered At No Reserve, Sold To High Bidder.
Unlike Similar Dealer Offered Mini's Here On Ebay, That Are Sold At NO RESERVE Until You Look At Their Completed Listings and See They Have Sold The Same Car 15 Times. To Their High Bidder. Because Their Hidden Reserve Isn't Met. Meaning They Want 30k And The Bidders Market Say It's Only Worth 15k
Car Is For Sale Locally So Seller Reserves The Right To Cancel Listing Prior To Sale End.
