Car description

Offered for sale, from KURT TANNER MOTORCARS, is this very decent MGB Roadster finished in a desirable color scheme. This car was just purchased from the Pacific Northwest from a younger seller who acquired it from his neighbor who owned it for years. The car is in good driver’s condition with a very nice restored interior and appears quite solid underneath. The bodywork on this car is decent to average. Panel fit is good with nice fitting panels. The car received a decent modest respray with average to poor prep work. The car is attractive and presents fine for a driver, but would definitely benefit from a better repaint in the future. PLEASE SEE VIDEO. Brightwork is decent. The bumpers have been powder-coated in black but there is another set of chrome ones provided. The windshield is the original Triplex in decent shape. There are a few dings underneath the rocker panels, probably from shipping. The car’s interior is very nice with an excellent set of original early 70’s headrest style seats fitted. Carpets are new in black loop. The dashboard is nice with a dashcap fitted. The panel kit is very good and has been renewed recently. New door seals are fitted. The steering wheel is excellent. The car is fitted with an interesting fiberglass hardtop with sunroof installed. The softtop frame has been removed. There is a nice original black top boot and tonneau cover included.Mechanically this car is very good with no issues. There’s evidence of plenty of mechanical work including an engine rebuild that is fitted with a downdraft Weber carburetor. The car drives well with an excellent strong engine and crisp gearbox. It rolls along smoothly on it’s new tire set. The overdrive switch is currently not operating but it usually doesn’t take much to get it going…The car’s underside looks very good and solid. Spare parts include the original SU carburetor set with pair of air cleaners, jack, bag, spare wheel.Overall, quite a decent and attractive 1969 Roadster in great colors and options. This car is modestly priced and is a sensible buy going forward. Please look at all pictures / video and call or email with any questions. We will assist in shipping worldwide.
