Car description

Offered for sale, from KURT TANNER MOTORCARS, is this very fun and attractive MGB Roadster in great colors fitted with a rare factory hardtop and Minilite alloy wheels. This car was purchased locally here in Southern California but before that lived in Central California in Modesto. It's a very genuine, completely rustfree car that runs and drives as good as it looks. The body on this car is very good showing great panel fit all around. The car was painted approximately 10 years ago but still looks nice and glossy with only a few small blemishes and chips from normal use. Chrome all around is really excellent, including newer bumpers, and a nice windshield frame. Glass is very nice. The car's interior trim is very nice, with a near perfect dashboard with working gauges/switches, excellent comfortable recovered seats, nice panel kit and decent carpet. The mechanicals on this car are very good. The engine starts easily on the key with no noises, great oil pressure, no smoke, and sounds very healthy through it's throaty exhaust. There is evidence of a cylinder head rebuild. The car's brakes, clutch, steering, suspension all operate smoothly with very good feel, especially with these newer 15" alloy wheels with grippy tires fitted. The car's gearbox is fine except for some weakness in 3rd gear syncromesh, but operates OK when not hurried...The car comes with it's lifting jack, original air cleaner set, spare carb set, steering wheel, front header with an attached white soft top.Overall, this very honest, exciting-looking MGB is fantastic fun and makes all of the right noises, driving very well. It's currently very good value on today's market and just in time for summer.
