Car description

A 1978 MGB finished in a bold red is already quite alluring. But when you take a closer look, you see that this one is crisp and clean everywhere, because there has been less than 250 miles since its full restoration.
You can instantly see this one is special. It has nice classic-style upgrades like the LED headlights, and it also has some cool classic-style additions, like the Sebring front valance and Minilite wheels. It's particularly nice to see a black bumper car converted back to the chrome bumper and grille era. But while all the custom pieces will have you talking, don't forget to appreciate the level of quality you get from a vehicle that was completed last year and has done hardly any miles since. The red paint has a vibrant look and a deep luster as the sunlight rolls over this sunshine-friendly convertibles sheetmetal. And there's a fresh look on everything from the full-length side trim to the black convertible top.
While the black top looks nice against the slick red paint, you'll love taking it down to reveal the fresh tan interior. After all, it gives this classic British droptop a timelessly attractive color combo. You can really tell they invested nicely during the restoration with comfy bucket seats, wide headrests, taut door panels, upgraded door sills, an armrest center console, and fresh black floor mats (it hides the dirt from your shoes while also matching the dash.) And as a true MG, this is built to be a driver's machine. There's the grippy sports steering wheel, a well-placed stick shift for the four-speed, and the classic gauges are new, so you get a clear view of the large speedo and tach.
Under the hood is what's believed to be the original 1799cc engine. The consignor states this started as a low-mileage car, and the engine received plenty of attention during the restoration. That's why it starts readily, idles smoothly, and runs beautifully. Plus, you'll notice a few nice upgrades like the Weber carburetor and Cannon intake. It makes for a car you're going to want to go out and drive, and that's exactly the point of owning an MGB. They have a nimble feeling that keeps you connected to the road, and that continues here with the direct steering, modern tires, and upgraded power brakes with discs up front.
A fresh restoration, distinct features, and the overall joy of a driver's machine - this MG delivers it all, and all for a value price. Call now!
