I am listing this car as a no reserve auction, high bid will own it so bid only if you are serious! I bought this 1958 MGA 1600 coupe from the previous owner who had owned it since 1993. He used it as his daily driver and parked it in 2003. It was repainted at one time the original color. The paint still shines and looks decent but shows some imperfections. I would describe it as a ten footer. upon picking the car up, I took it to a MG repair facility and told them to go through the car to bring it back to a daily driver condition. They went through the car and replaced all brake wheel cylinders, re-lubed the car underside/steering components, replaced the fuel sending unit, adjusted the valves, set the timing, bled the brakes and clutch, made sure the car did not overheat, and generally made it road worthy. Due to the age of the tires, he suggested replacing them but they are serviceable to use now. The previous owner told me that he had the original gauges replaced with rebuilt very rare low production earlier mga gauges. The MG mechanic who worked on it told me that the gauges are extremely rare. I took a pic of the receipt from the MG place ( in video) . The car fires right up anytime I moved it. It runs great, it shifts all gears great and runs strong with no knock, misses or smoke. The car stops the way it should. The car is currently in my indoor office showroom. Always gets tons of smiles, comments, and pictures. Watch the video, check out the pics and call me with any questions.
