Body and Frame
The body number is B22671 and the frame number is 90986 (matches VIN). Any rust that was on the body or frame was cut out and replaced with new correct gauge sheet metal. The body and frame were then seperated and each placed onto a rotisserie. The body, frame, and all panels were abrasive blasted inside and out with crushed glass, cleaned, and primed with epoxy. Finally, the body was finished with PPG DBC basecoat and SPI Universal clear coat.

Interior
The interior has been completely redone. The seat frames were disassembled, abrasive blasted, and epoxy primed. The wooden seat bases were cut out of new 1/2" plywood and remade using the old bases as a pattern. New seat foam and 2 inch thick horsehair for the seat backing was used, and finally the seats were then recovered with black leather and blue piping as original. The floorboards were cut out of 1/2" plywood and painted black, using the original floorboards as a pattern. The door rails and rear corner rails are covered in leather, and the dash and rear cockpit rails are covered in vinyl. New black carpet was installed as well as new door panels, door pockets, and side panels. Also new is an original style side curtain stowage bag, arm rest, steering wheel, and original style door seals. The top bows have been painted the correct beige color. All interior gauges and switches function as they should.

Engine
The engine number is 16GA-U 22084. The block, head, and any originally painted parts were thoroughly cleaned, epoxy primed, and top coated with the correct dark red engine color.
Work done on the head includes new hardened seats, a resurfacing of 0.008", new valves, valve springs, seals, and valve guides. The head was pressure checked after the work was completed and no leaks were found.
The block was bored .030" over. The crankshaft was ground 0.010" for both the mains and the rods. New tri-metal bearings were installed as well as new cam bearings and a new stock profile cam. Also new are the pistons (Aerolite brand), oil pump, sprockets, thrust washers, chain/tensioner, flywheel ring gear, and 3 piece Borg and Beck clutch.
Original carburetors were rebuilt with new gaskets, seals, needles, and original air filters. New copper fuel lines, stainless exhaust, SU fuel pump, and fuel tank were also installed.
The radiator was replaced with a new original style reproduction along with a new water pump, water hoses, and original style clamps.

Transmission and Rear Axle
The transmission was disassembled and had all new bearings, seals, and synchronizers installed. A new laygear shaft and new original style laygear bearings were fitted. All of the gears were found to be in good condition and were reused. The driveshaft has new U joints and grease fittings. The rear axle was disassembled and also found to be in great condition. A new pinion seal and new rear hub seals were installed.

Brakes and Suspension
All brake, suspension, and steering parts that were originally painted were cleaned, abrasive blasted, and epoxy primed. The calipers were taken apart and had new seals and O-rings installed with stainless steel pistons. All brake and clutch lines were replaced with copper nickel lines. The master cylinder was resleeved with brass and rebuilt. New rear brake shoes, hardware, wheel cylinders, rotors, pads, front wheel bearings and seals were installed.
The front suspension has new v8 style bushings, new trunion bushings and seals. The rear suspension has all new bushings and shock links. All shocks were tested and found to be in good condition with no leaks. The steering rack was completely disassembled, cleaned, and had new seals, gear oil, boots, U-joint, and outer tie rods installed.

Electrical
A brand new front and rear cloth wiring harness is routed throughout the car. The starter and generator were taken apart, cleaned, inspected, and had all the bushings and bearings replaced. The wiper motor was disassembled and had the brushes and rubber mounts replaced. The voltage regulator is properly adjusted and functions as it should. All lights, gauges, and any other electrical items work great. The distributor has new points, cap, rotor, and vacuum unit. The ignition wires are original style as well and are correctly numbered.
