1980 MG W/OVERDRIVE

If you are looking for perfect car this is not it; however if you are looking for car that can be driven everday while you finish restoration this could be it. Car has good working overdrive. Car has the rare Cosmic made in England wheels. Everything works on this car except the dash light on tachometer. May be a bulb. Car has Weber carb and long tube headers. Drove it about everyday in January and February and fires up quickly no matter weather. Top is not new but very serviceable. Overdrive works just fine. Tranny fine. Things that are done in last few thousand miles: New fuel tank, tires, brakes, carpet, engine rebuilt, carb, headers, lots of new rubbers, windshield and wipers. Before carpet put in interior lined w/dynamat. Some in trunk and under hood also. Body on this car is solid. Only rust thru is patch welded in drivers floor. About 10x10. Car does need paint. Have all the side stainless trim along w/new clips for installing. Took it off to address surface rust behind it. The only bad thing about body is typical crack below drivers vent window. There is pic of that and patch in drivers floor. If have any questions ask them. Check ad once a day. I am starting this at less than price of overdrive and wheels. Don't believe the hype that MGs are not reliable because this one is. Also comes w/ 5 original wheels. 3 w/new tires. Also has battery cut off w/key on back shelf.
