Car description

hello, selling Angie, my MGB convertible since August - here is her story
I purchased Angie from an ailing neighbor, Barbara, who's husband had passed away recently. She was the original owner and the car was garaged its entire life in Newport Beach in the same home.
It had not been driven for 6 years when I purchased, and had last been run 2 years prior.
Patiently and methodically I have done my best to make this a reliable fun car. I have driven it about 1000 miles to date.
Heres what is new: Any take-off such as original radiator, master cylinder, fans, etc are retained if someone wants to make this a restoration that is super accurate. My goal was a fun runner.
All new hoses, belts, tires, alignment, master cylinders, clutch slave, rear wheel cylinders and shoes, new radiator, fused and relayed fan that runs from the battery direct (runs after car is off if hot), battery, 100 Amp alternator, correct exhaust from cat back, carpet kit, carb rebuild, top, rebuilt radio (works good but scratches on volume changes), signal flasher, rebuilt carbon canisters, plugs, cap and rotor, plug wires, heater valve, thermostat, valve cover gasket, valve adjustment, transmission oil change, basic tune up items, straps under seats...
Paint and interior (except carpet kit) are original and in amazing great condition
What remains - ( I work on this car on sunny days time allowing ) - parts purchased but need to be installed, side and oil pan cover gaskets, engine mounts, rack and pinion boots - these will most likely happen on the same weekend - there is rust on the rockers forward of the rear wheels, drivers side is worst, this needs addressed, no other rust under vehicle
Some small items - glove box latch is broken but there - clock second hands runs but clock doesnt change time - a few of the top snaps can be temperamental... plastic windows already have a few mars - top has been up and down maybe 30 drives :-)
The good stuff - everything else :-) people come to talk to me, take pictures, point, wave and smile EVERYWHERE I DRIVE or PARK THIS CAR
It runs and drives like a summers day dream, vibration free, exhaust tone is beyond correct, idles with a burble, starts 2nd try everytime, 1st try when warm, seldoms runs on - on shut off, shift nice and clean, loves to go 72 mph on the freeway at 4000 rpm
Ill try to add more info as I think of things or people ask question - available and may be sold locally
