Car description

For sale is my rust free 1980 MGB with under 9600 miles from new. It's been garage kept. I bought it serviced all the mechanicals, performed the chrome bumper conversion made by moss motors, installed new Suffolk seats, new bell exhaust, rebuilt brakes, new cooling hoses, water pump and much more. New paint looks very good, but not quite perfect. Many new parts too much to list. This mg is ready to drive!New parts:Front brake rotors, pads and flex hoses.Rear brake wheel cylinders and flex hose. System flushed with new fluid.Cooling system flushed, new water pump, hoses heater valve and thermostat.Clutch hydraulics rebuilt slave cylinder, new hose and fluid flush.Front suspension has new poly a-arm bushings and lowered springs.Engine has new updated lifters, new distributor, oil cooler kit, new hif44 carburetor, custom aluminium intake manifold, early exhaust manifold with new Bell big bore exhaust system.New electric fuel pump and fuel tank. New alloy wheels with like new tires. New carpet, seats, door panels. New top and top boot and more...This is most of the items done.Runs and drives perfect! Oil pressure is 75 hot and I performed a compression test and a 4 cylinders were 120psi. This car looks great too! I get compliments all the time. I'm still driving it so miles will rise by auction end.
Not a problem for most but itdoes have rebuilt title that is in my name. It had one when I bought it. The title does'nt bother me , since this car is so rust free. The history is it had a small fire near the original carb back in 1996. The value of these were at the lowest point then, so it was written off the the insurance co. The second owner restored/repaired the affected area and drove it. Health problems forced him to park it. Fast fwd I'm the third owner. This is a fantastic mgb. I have about 11k in this car. My starting bid is less than the cost of parts I have invested in this car. No accidents or crash damage. I'm selling due to I found a car locally that suits my family better as a toy. Payment to be received within 7 days of auction end. Buyer to arrange pickup.
