Car description

Up for auction is a rarely-seen 1954 MG Magnette ZA. One of the earliest ZAs produced, this stunning example of British motoring was found at a local ranch. Paperwork and items discovered inside suggests it was in northern New York or Canada for some time. This car has had a Riley 1.5L professionally swapped; it is a 1956 model so most likely it was installed earlier in its lifetime. The engine turns over very freely. Rims have been refinished recently to look like original. Original glass window washer and other items are in great shape. Car will need a total restoration. This car is being offered at no reserve and highest bidder will win this auction! Check my feedback and bid with confidence! Thanks for looking and good luck should you decide to bid.

On Aug-23-17 at 12:30:38 PDT, seller added the following information:

. Pleaee note new pictures of the engine bay have been added, including the correct car number. (Engine number does not correspond.) The engine has a matching red MG valve cover on it but the identifying number on the red engine's plate indicates it to be a Riley 1.5L: 16RAU-H 8277.
I forgot to mention that there are original keys with it. The battery is brand new and upon installation the headlights and tail lights instantly worked so some, if not all, of the wiring is still functional. Additional parts include what appear to be the original heater box and radiator. Please continue to ask any Qs that you may have and I'll do my best to answer them.

I've had several questions about the trim (aka "spears"): The spears appear to be all there and will go with the car. The passenger side spear is still attached and I've added a picture of it above. Please continue to ask Qs and I'll post answers the best as I can!
