Car description

This 1968 MGB runs and drives, ut is in need of some TLC and/or restoration. Drive it while you work on it, r do a total restoration this winter and enjoy it in the spring! Right now, he only thing it really needs is a new starter. It can be easily push started for the time being, nd you can see a short video of it driving down the road and another of the engine at idle on YouTube. I can't get the links to work, o you'll have to go to YouTube and search for the following titles... Driving - East Lansing 68 MGB driving along Engine - East Lansing 68 MGB runningThe brakes require a fair bit of pressure to bring her to a full stop, ut they are functional as well. Mechanically, t seems pretty good overall (except for the starter issue). The good stuff...-It has the original banjo steering wheel (it could use a reconditioning)-It has a Becker Europa tr radio (push buttons say "BC" and "FM")-It has disc wheels rather than wire wheels (who wants to spend time cleaning wire wheels when you can be out enjoying a nice drive?)...- AND they have tires on them that are so new that the little nubs are still on the sidewalls!- The top looks fairly new and is in very nice shape, lthough the rear window has a few scratches and a couple of rust stains on it.- It has the cockpit tonneau cover that zips down the middle so that you can cover the passenger seat and area behind the seats while driving (see pictures)Cosmetically, t needs some help. It has the typical rust issues one expects from an older MGB. The rockers are in need of replacing. There are numerous bangs, ings and dents across the car. The floor has been partially (and pretty poorly) patched at some point. The carpets are older and show some wear. It has a broken windshield (a good replacement in it's frame is included in the sale). The seat covers and door panels are in pretty decent shape. The dash could use some freshening up. The hubcaps and chrome are pitted and could benefit from some attention. There may be other areas of concern, o please take a careful look at the pictures and feel free to ask me any questions you might have. All in all, his is a decent little car that can be made a driver pretty easily or can be a great jumping off point for a nice restoration for an enthusiast. If you have any questions are would like me to look at any specific area of the car and report back to you, lease don't hesitate to ask, s I'm happy to help out in any way I can.
