Car description

You are looking at a very nice mostly original MGB with recent full service and upgrades. I purchased this in spring from the second owner of 35 years. It was his sunny weather toy as I have used it too.It has good shiny paint. This car is as purchased other than I added chip gaurd to the lower sides of body due to some stone chips. The body has a few minor dings to be expected on any used car this age. Can;t capture them in pictures. The interior is very nice original with new black carpets and door panels. Some of the carpet was worn so it was replaced. It has a new top with zip out window. The tires are new with 500 miles on them mounted on good used alloy wheels. Runs strong and hold awesome oil pressure, ot idle 45psi and at any speed 60psi. I converted this MG from the single side draft carburetor to the desirable early spec dual carburetors that were completely rebuilt. A Bell stainless steel exhaust replaced the muffler shop exhaust that was on it. I had a Front sway bar was added since the factory deleted these for '76. The transmission is a 4 speed with the coveted overdrive and works as it should.Too much more too list, ut this MGB is ready to drive! No rust! Everything works. Looks Great to boot!Included is a top boot, ar cover, anuals and lots of receipts. Also there is a log book that starts from new by original the owner in 1976 and kept up pretty well by second owner to 2013. I have receipts for the work I had done. I have my buy it now price, ut feel free to make an offer on this fine MG. I have an appraisal from a few years ago and it valued this car at $7200. This is before the full service and upgrades were completed. This car shows well, won an award at a British car show on Sept. 13th this year and it gets lots of compliments. I took this MG on a 300 mile trip recently as well as other trips and it ran flawless!Selling due to family size and household work schedules, nd a friend of mine parents have a Jaguar I would like to purchase. Payment to be paid in full within 5 days after auction ends. Sold as is as shown. Feel free to ask questions. For sale locally, o I reserve the right to end listing early. Sold as is as shown.
