Car description

What we have here is a 1952 MG TD in un-restored, unning condition with spare frame.

I bought this car in the year 2000 with the intentions of restoring it. I have personally driven the car about 300 miles since I purchased it. It is running and drivable at this time.

The odometer shows 89,000 miles, ut I do not know if that is accurate. The wood seems to be solid and the doors close nicely.

After I bought this car, omeone pointed out to me that there is a difference in the distance from the fender to the radiator on the left and right side. The distance on the right is about 1/2 inch and on the left it is about 1/8 inch. I am not sure you can see this in the pictures, ut Iam not the kind of person who would sell the car without mentioningit. When I found this out I put the car on a rack and found that it had sustained some frame damage that I assume came from an accident a long time ago. The car drives straight and seems fine.

About ten years ago, bought another TD frame and had it sand blasted and painted for when I eventually restored the car. I will throw that in with the car purchase.

The car is titled in PAwith the year 1956 but the VIN is for a 1952. I believe the title is a T-2 title-meaning that it was first titled in PA in 1956. I do not know where it was originally titled.

The reason I am not restoring this car is that I also own 12 MGAs that I intend to restore, nd I figure I should streamline my restorations and stick to one model at this point. If I cannot get my reserve, will restore the car and then sell it. Since retirement, have restored 5 MGAs and one TD, o I know what these cars are worth. I just thought I would try to sell it before I put a lot of money into it.

The car must be paid for with cash, ashier's check, r wire transfer within seven days of the end of the auction. Allmoneys must clear my bank before the vehicle will be released. Shipping must be arranged and paid for by the winning bidder. THIS VEHICLE IS BEING SOLD AS-IS, ITH NO WARRANTY, XPRESS OR IMPLIED. If you are unsure about bidding, lease come inspect the car in person or have it inspected by a reputable third-party inspection service. Please bid only if you are serious and are able to complete the purchase.

The car is located in Pittsburgh, PA. Feel free to call George with any questions 412-913-4230.
