Excellent Original Survivor with 36k Miles!!!

This 1957 Mercury Turnpike Cruiser four door sedan is a true survivor! It is a 36k actual mile un-restored example with a completely original drive-train, interior and 90% original paint. It was sold new in Tahoka, Texas to a fellow that kept it in a building the the family owned in O'Donnell, Texas for several decades until his passing. His sister told the second owner that he rarely drove the car and then when he did only at night! He then left the car to his sister who kept it until 2009 when she sold it to the second owner who was a collector in Texas. The second owner kept the car until 2014 when it was sold to the third owner a gentleman from Indianapolis. The third owner passed away and left it to his daughter who we purchased it from in the fall of 2019. It is finished in the beautiful Classic White with Sunset Orchid accents. It has an original clear plastic covered black and white interior. It runs and drives nicely and shifts smoothly. This 1957 Turnpike Cruiser is a rare original example that has an interesting history to boot!!
