1965 Mercury Comet, Protouring, Restomod, 4W Disc, 302, T5 5 speed, Mustang

For sale is my 1965 Mercury Comet. This car took almost 3 years to complete the restoration. The restoration was documented throughout the process with photos, video and endlessreceipts and paperwork that will of course go with the car. The car was built to drive anywhere with modern suspension, steering and brakes. This Comet is truly one of a kind with one-off touches like suicide doors, Mini tube with 295mm tires and the car has been shortened 5 inches! The suicide doors took MANY hours of fabrication and they look factory at the hinges and jams. The car was shortened 5 inches from the bottom of the back window to the rear edge of the trunk lid making the car about the same length as a 1965 Mustang. The car looks wider due to the shorter length and has an aggressive stance. The metallic green paint looks beautiful and the car is laser straight. The doors line up and close perfectly with little effort. The door gaps at the fender and jam line up perfect. This Comet really needs to be seen and driven to fully appreciate the work that has gone into the car.

Yukon Tru-Track LSD 3.55 gears. Suicide Doors, Shaved Body, Mustang Wheel Arches, Custom Hood, Custom Trunk Spoiler, Custom LED Taillights, LED Headlights and park/turn signals. 15x8 Front and 15x10 Rear Mini-tubbed.Engine was an original 289 bored .040, Keith Black Pistons, AFR 165 Heads, ARP Bolts, March Aluminum Pulleys, and many other High quality accessories. I have receipts and paperwork on EVERY part that was bought and installed. The engine DYNO tested 382RWHP!Mustang II Front Suspension, Cal-Track Real Leaf Springs and Traction Bars.Countless Hours of Work have went into this, but time for me to move on to other projects. I cant remember or list the large numbers of small detail modifications. I have tons of Pictures of this build. And will do my best to explain, or answer any question to any serious buyers.
