Car description

I purchased this car from the estate of an elderly man who enjoyed this car for its sleek custom styling and its everyday dependability. Restoration started with a 77. 00 mile original car from Oklahoma. The paint was stripped and any rusted metal was removed and replaced. It appears that the only areas replaced were minor sections of the front floor pans and the toe board area. From the restoration photos. this area only appears to be about 12" x 12". The car was then repainted a metallic blue with silver top. The original flathead engine was replaced with a dependable rebuilt Chevrolet 305 long block from O'Reilly's Auto Parts. The new engine was outfitted with Weiland Intake manifold. Edelbrock carburetor. HEI ignition and HPC coated exhaust manifolds. The transmission was replaced with a rebuilt turbo 350. The brakes and suspension were rebuilt with new parts as needed. A power brake booster and dual master cylinder were added to the front/rear drum brakes for extra stopping power. The car was rewired to a 12 volt system using a EZ wiring harness. A complete set of digital gauges were installed to monitor all functions. The gas tank was refurbished as well as the radiator. To make the car comfortable the interior was completely redone in a 2-tone soft vinyl with retro styling. The original seat was retained. The stack heater was removed and replaced with aftermarket heat and A/C to make it useable and comfortable in all seasons. AM/FM radio with CD was installed for getting great tunes from KOMA while cruising. A total of approx. 4. 00 miles has been put on this car since the restoration. The car is not perfect and does have some normal paint chips. etc from being driven and used as my every day driver. The car does have a current Oklahoma title in my name. I have enjoyed this car. however it is now time to move on to my many other projects. I prefer to sell the car. however I will entertain any and all trades. Cash offers will be considered as well. I reserve the right to end the auction early as the car is advertised locally. The car is sold as is with no warranty. Any questions. please call Larry at 405-613-5580
