Car description

1977 Cougar XR7 Two Door Hardtop …with only 67. 00 original miles. It includes the original Ford Owner Card (warranty card). starting instruction sleeve for visor. Owner’s Manual. Radio Manual. Service Invoices from original owner. and other original paperwork. The car was purchased from the original owner of the car in 2014. which is confirmed with a copy of the prior title and the original warranty card. It has the original 351 V-8 with an automatic transmission. power steering. and power brakes. This is a rare car in that it was ordered without air conditioning. It has the optional vinyl seating. which is in excellent condition. The exterior color is Champagne Metallic with a brown interior. The carpet has no fading and or tears. The dash pad is excellent. The interior looks like it did when new. All glass is excellent and appears to be original. The chrome and trim are in very nice condition and nearly perfect. They are nearly as nice as they came from the factory. The paint is all original. very nice and shines well. but it is 38 years old so it is not like a fresh paint job. There are a couple of very small door dings. There are some very small paint chips on the lower part of the fenders and quarter panels. which should be expected for a car that was driven 67. 00 miles. The doors open and close like they are new. No rattles. There is no wind noise in this car when driving with the windows up. All weatherstrip on the car is original. but looks in new condition. The car is very nice and would show nicely at local car shows and cruise-ins. Everything works on the car except the clock and that gas gauge will periodically work or not work. The factory AM radio works great and there is an “old school” FM converter installed that works great too. I have not seen one of those since my older brother put one in his car in the 1970’s. The instructions for the FM converter are included. Windows go up and down as they should. All lights and signals work as they should. The car runs and drives excellent. It is very smooth. *PLEASE ONLY BID IF YOU INTEND TO BUY THIS ITEM!* · Buyers will contact the seller within 24 hours of auction ending to confirm payment and transport arrangements.
