Car description

This car was originally a high-end pro-built full custom street racer that is now in need of some restoration. The original build project began with a nice original car costing $15k. An additional $75k was spent of the build. It has a lowered "Pro-Street" racer theme. To restore it, it will require some body and paint, general tinkering, and partial mechanical re-assembly. Most parts are included to complete the restoration project and are top quality. The body has a chopped top withHartz cloth, everything shaved, custom cowl and windshield, hidden hinges, moldedin fenders, pancakedhood, radius trunk, frenched in lights and license plate,Corvette shark tooth grill, door poppers, and custom integral bumper skirts. Most of the custom body work is steel. There is some fiberglass at the rear fender molding. The interior is leather and includes custom gauges and tilt steering column. The engine is a rare early Corvette 427 big block modified with performance goodies. Built Turbo-400 trans with B&M shifter. The fuel cell and battery are trunk mounted. The Pro-Street chassis design has a narrowed 9" rear with4:11 Detroit locker gears. It features top quality Art Morrison ladder bars andcoil over shocks, fender well tubs, and Wilwood disc brakes. The frame is customized with an inner sub-frame, cross members, and driveshaft loop. The front suspension is a top quality Fat Man front clip with tubular A-arms, coil over shocks, disc brakes, and power Mustang 11 rack and pinion steering. This is a quick machine that will light up the 15" wide rear tires. This is not a build project, it is a restoration project. It has great bones and deserves to be put back on the show circuit.
