Lots of Research went into the build of this Race Car. Rick spent Months talking with drivers and builders of this period gathering information to build this car to exact specifications. Some parts were from original car and others no longer available had to be fabricated by Rick at his shop. This car has been displayed at the International Motor Sports Hall of Fame located in Talladega Alabama . The car was taken from Talladega to the Charlotte Motor Speedway for filming of the Unocal Commercial. The car has its share of publicity and has lots of literature to document its life. Rick still enjoys building and racing cars. His career of Drag racing limits his time to enjoy this car. Rick knows now is the time to pass it along to someone to show and enjoy as he has. Even though the Mercury has been in a temperature controlled environment for several years it will need the Fuel System serviced with fresh fuel before starting .
