Car description

Here is a 1958 Mercury Parklane hardtop project car. A rarely seen car - fully loaded with Memory power seat, T&C radio, power windows, steering and brakes. Power train is a 360 horsepower 430 CI engine with push button automatic. Adding the optional tri-power intake to this engine makes it a Super Marauder at 400 horsepower. The "bankers hot rod".
The car is missing a few trim items such as Mercury letters on the hood, ornaments on top front of fenders, and the Mercury hood emblem. There is one hubcap in the car, so needing three more to make a complete set.
The push button automatic keyboard is dismantled but all buttons and control parts are in the car.
This car has some rust in the bottom of rockers and lower quarters. A few spots near bottom of doors will need attention. Floors seem intact but as most of these cars exhibit, there might be some areas of repair once metal is sandblasted. I did move the carpets back and noticed that there was original paint still on the exposed areas. Someone cut a small hole in the transmission tunnel to access the transmission linkage from inside the car.
I don't know the status of the engine and transmission - I think this car has been parked for many decades. It's not running at this time.
This car is relatively complete, and in decent restoreable condition. Original colors where coral sand with a white stripe down the body side.
I can arrange enclosed transport of this car to Vancouver BC for shipping to the USA or overseas. Buyer is responsible for all shipping charges. This car is sold on a bill of sale.
