RARE

LOW Realistic reserve !! Our goal is to sell
some cars and be the best on Ebay.
Prob one of the most original / low mileage / survivor
XR4Tis left in the USA.
We suggest viewing our auction on normal large monitors
and or tablet to get the most out of our large easy to view pics.
Desert Survivor being sold by a very legit Ebay seller
If you have any concerns about our vehicle, please ask or dont
bid on it. Dont wait till after you win and then make up stuff on
wondering if we are real or not.
FEEDBACK !!! if you cant take 10 min to read thru our feedback
on the cars we have sold here over the last 10 yrs, then you also
shouldnt be bidding on our auctions. Ebay offers our Feedback rating
for a reason,... try trusting it.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION: RUST FREE SURVIVOR
this is a nice unmolested / non modded very original Merkur.
53k original mile, Box A title. For some reason the last owner
was talked into changing the headgasket. A local shop did it
along with recon the head and new head bolts. Think it has a
new timing belt too. It runs okay, runs a little rough when cold
much better after it warms up. After a few months it developed
a clicking under the valve cover. I set the reserve with this
needing to be looked at. The car has been driven a few miles since
the noise started. I may have it looked at this week and see
what it is. Other then then those 2 things, I believe the drivetrain
to be fine as Ive driven the car before the noise started and during
around the block. More info broken down below
These cars are becoming very rare and getting harderto find.

DONT BID UNLESS YOU HAVE THE FUNDS IN HAND, apparently some people
who use ebay arent smart enough to understand the rules.
So if you have under 10 feedbacks, Ill be emailing you if you bid to
make sure you are legit, if we do please reply or we will cancel your bid.
Up for Auction: LOW FAIR RESERVE !!!
These cars are getting harder to find esp in this condition
that are still affordable to most buyers.

DRIVETRAIN: we believe the motor to be the original 2.3
matted to a 5 spd trans. Pretty much all original under the
hood with no boost controllers ever installed. The last owner
did have a aftermarket water temp gauge installed instead of
fixing the stock one. It can be easily put back to stock. As
mentioned earlier about the recent head work and gasket of
course and lifter noise a few months after, now. Clutch feels
fine and the car drives nice like they were built to.
The factory MSW alloy wheels are nice.
Remember, its rwd, turbo and intercooled... with factory AC.
While running, sometimes I hear a buzz or rattle coming from
the front. Not sure if its a heat shield loose and when the electric
fans come on, theres more noise too. Going to look into it
this week.

INTERIOR: take a look at the pics, the interior shows awesome
in the pics, but there are a few spots the front seats are showing
wear on the leather. Stock radio and equailizer not hooked up
but come with the car. For a 30 yr old car, it is in pretty amazing
shape though. It will need cleaning and restoration
in a few areas inside to be really nice. Tops of both door panels
prob show the worst of it . PW option and factory sunroof
is nice too. Speedo and tach work, fuel gauge and water temp dont
seem to work.

EXTERIOR:the body is 100% original. I notice a few
small dings around the car on the original Chestnut metallic
paint. Overall the original paint is in really nice shape. The
only area really affected by age is the top of the rear wing
and thats because Ford didnt paint thier own rear spoilers.
The grey bumpers look good too. Front headlight lenses could
use a nice buffing out to rid the yellow aged look. It would
be a great car to keep original and just drive to Import Shows.
Zero rust or rot on the body or floors. Rust NOT in the usual
places.

SUSPENSION:the suspension, pretty sweet. F/R factory
Sway bars making these cars handle extremely well. Fords
German heritage and background during this era was leaps
and bounds over the competition. If you are looking at this
auction, you already know about the Cosworth and Sierra
AWD Ralley cars that dominated back in the day. Add
a good set of tires and someone experienced behind the wheel.
One of the last tuner turbo RWD cars to come from overseas back
in this era. Also, I noticed a leak coming from I think the
ps system near the front of the car. Ill try to see whats up with
that too this week.
The car needs very little restoration, and they are
becoming harder to find every yr. Already a modern classic.
I havent even seen one driving on the road
in prob the last 10 yrs. Most were crushed, beat on or wrecked.

There you have it, probably The BEST represented and
prob ONLY XR4Ti on Ebay.

Shows you all the good as well as any bad. Real buyers
will appreciate thetime and effort we put into
marketing our cars.
People wait months for a car this solid to come up for sale
and even if you have to pay shipping to your area, it still beats
paying a body shop to hopefully fix a rusty car for weeks on end.
Having as much as the original steel on a restored car these days speaks volumes.
This is a great car to restore, their values will only go up,
buy it now and watch it appreciate for yrs to come.
People are flipping cars all the time when most of the jobs are
fast, for a quick buck and quality suffers. No worries here, and
we post legit large pics to prove it.

Email us with ANY questions before you bid please

Our Impeccable FEEDBACK speaks for itself. We show you as
much feasibly possible via pics.
Dont let auctions withlittle to no pics try to fool you.
If they cant take the time to take pics of areas under the car they
are selling, maybe its not the best car to buy long distance.
With other auctions, you really dont know what to expect
until you take the car apart. While we go over our cars ALL OVER
with great pics to help making your decision easier.
Along with ANY other questions you may have.
Email me for a quote for shipping.
